Tweedle-Hoot and some other goodies!

Ooooooh I'm so excited over these!!!! It's been time! About two years since the collaboration started and now, now it's become true. And he will premiere this weekend at ToyCon UK! This is the collaboration between me and Aardman magician James Young!

It is hard for me to describe what an amazing job James did on these and the perfection of them was beyond my wildest imagination. They seriously look and feel like production toys but are 100% hand-made!

I just love them so much and I am so thankful that James wanted to work with me of all amazing artists out there. There is 6 of each colour way, but one of each have been reserved for James. It is the least I can do for him after all his hard work. So there will be 5 of each avaliable for purchase.

SATURDAY

This beautiful mint and pink version is the Saturday Colour Way and will be available on Saturday Only! £60.00

SUNDAY

And this is Sundays colour way. Just a beautiful as Saturdays! Now if you want both you'll have to attend both days, and be quick! These beauties are limited to only 5 pieces per colour way and they will go quick!!! £60.00

Pins

These little Enamel Pins will premier at ToyCon UK too! A collaboration between myself and Creamlab. This is Mini-Hoot! There is only 4 of the black, 50 of the red and 100 of the mint. So make sure you stop by to pick one up! They will be priced at £10.00

I was supposed to bring these wooden pins as well and I ordered them over two weeks ago. I still haven't received them and I don't know if I will on time. I contacted the company yesterday and they said they couldn't guarantee that they'd be with me by Friday. And if they're not then I guess these will go up online after instead. Very sad, but nothing I can do unfortunately. If they come with me they will be priced at £8.50.

Necklaces

The Koshi-Ki and Tweedle-Hoot necklaces will come with me as well. I've only got very few of these left so make sure to get one whilst they're still available. Priced at £20.00

Cushions

Brining a load of cushions! There's 8 Buuni's and 8 Fooxi's available for £25.00 each and 10 Yetis available for £23.00 each. They are so cuddly and lovely! Come and give em' a squeeze!

Prints

You can also find all my Original prints. Both creatures and pretty girls. The creature prints are available in 2 sizes, A4 £10.00 and A5 £5.00. The digital art prints are A3 and they're on offer over the weekend at £20.00 which means you get £5.00 off if you attend ToyCon UK! Awesome!

Clearance

YES! I've been digging through my drawers and I have found sooooo much stuff from a past age of Tomodachi Island. This means I will have a couple of clearance boxes with all sorts of cuteness but mainly kawaii inspired jewellery. I will also sell all my old Tattoo Jewellery for an absolute steel! So make sure to have a look in those little boxes and don't be afraid of digging around. You never know what'll hide at the bottom of the box!

Bitxitu - FGH Toys

Little Bitxitu is finished and ready to meet the world with his golden uni-horn and all...

Just look at that face! Isn't he just the cutest?! I am in love with this little guy and the Bitxitu platform. The guys at FGH Toys did such an awesome job on him and I feel very happy to be one of their chosen artists to work on it. Thank you guys!

I've started working allot with gradients lately and I'm really trying to improve my airbrushing skills. I think it's getting better and I'm learning more and more for each toy I finish. The Iwata airbrush I invested in a while back have been absolutely outstanding so far, but I managed to break a part in it and then found out how freakishly expensive the little parts are.... I shall be more careful from now on!

He came out so well and it will be hard to let this little guy go once it is time. I'd like to keep him forever but there we are, that is not going to happen lol. He is the first Resin custom I've worked on as well so that was a great experience. I've been a bit stand offish of Resins as I didn't know if they were safe for the oven or not, turns out that they are for short periods of time. So here's to more custom resins in the future!!!

I don't know the exact release date yet but it will be sometime in the first week of June, so not long. I will keep you posted on IG! He will be available from the FGH Toys Bigcartel however and I don't know the price just yet either so yet again I will keep you posted on IG.

Fritz - The Rainbow Eating, Rainbow Pooping Bun Bun

My first resin release since Toy Con UK is finally here! This is FRITZ! He is a rainbow eating and rainbow pooping Bun Bun! What goes in must come out right?!

In Fritz's case that is how it is anyway. He loves rainbows soooo much that he can't live without them. His whole inside is full of rainbow and it is also all he thinks about, yes even his brain is rainbow.

His rainbow obsession started very early in his life. From when he was around 2 years old I believe. This was the first time he saw the rainbow and that day he decided to hunt it down and eat it. And so he did, and since then it is all he does.... eats the rainbow, and poops the rainbow. A simple life to say the least....

Fritz will be on PRE-ORDER from today. There is only a limited amount so be quick to get your very own! He is due to ship within 6-8 weeks from today. So head on over to the SHOP and get yourself some rainbow goodness!

Toy Con UK - 2016 - WOW

A week ago today I found myself in one of the most amazing places I've ever been to. ToyCon UK! I am kind of speechless over the whole thing and I wish I could re-live the weekend over and over and over again. What a place!

On the Friday I set up my table after trying to make my way from Victoria to Bethnal Green with a 40kg suitcase. It nearly killed me, but I was pleasantly surprised with the Londoners willingness to help a poor girl with her luggage! It took me about an hour and a half but I made it to my hotel. I only had a few hours sleep the night before as I literally finished the last resin toy at 9.00 in the morning and my bus was leaving at 11.00. So safe to say I was pretty tired once I reached the hotel. But I had allot of setting up to do so I had a shower and some food and then headed over to the convention hall.

The setting up took me forever! I have never fought so much with paper and cello tape in my life but I got it looking the way I wanted in the end lol. Didn't really talk with anyone on the setting up evening as I find it quite hard to approach people I've never met before. Just set my stuff up and then headed back to the hotel only to fall asleep at 9.30... woooops! Really needed that sleep though, but I felt really antisocial!

I had so much stuff with me! More than I thought I'd be able to finish in time for the Con. But I really pushed myself and I was very happy to see it all come together on the table. To be honest I didn't realize just how much I did have until I put it all out. I felt really bad for not giving you guys a preview of what I was going to bring, I just never had the chance. So I will give you a closer look now.

I think you saw from my instagram feed how hard I worked and how much stuff I actually managed to get done. I am very happy with everything that I made and in the end it was all worth it. The response to my toys have been mind-blowing to say the least. I could probably ride on this cloud of happiness forever.

This Ice-Cream Dunny from Candy Cove was the first thing I sold at my booth and to be honest I would have been happy with that. So when one thing after the other just went and my table looked emptier and emptier you can maybe try to imagine this crazy buzz I felt inside. I still can't believe that people want to own my art but you make me feel so damn good. And to meet so many of you have been such an amazing experience.

It's been so nice to meet all of you and to put faces to names. I do wish I had the chance to talk to many of you more than I got to do. Things were just so busy! But I do want to thank you again and again for buying my art and for supporting me and by doing so helping me to achieve a dream. A dream that is coming true a little bit more every day!

One thing I never thought would sell was this 8" Dunny. My first 8" actually and probably my favourite out of all the toys I've made. It was heartbreaking to see him go but at the same time I was super happy. I loved working on something bigger than a 3". So much room for imagination, plus the fact that it is much better balanced than a 3". I could never have put a huge lump of wood on a 3" Dunnys back without it falling over. He is a warden from the Whispering Woods. He looks after all the flying critters and foes of the woods. On his back he is carrying seeds of different sorts that he feeds to these animals.

I hope to do many more 8"ers in the future it's just very hard to get hold of them if you don't want to pay an absolute fortune, which I can't afford. This one was just a lucky hit on EBay a few months back! I'm in love with him.... going to miss him forever! The little Labbits were part of the custom as well :)

I'm also trying to explore new areas like with these two steam-punkesk Copter Dunnys. I love using the dirty look but I need to work on it a bit more as it takes me forever and many mistakes before I am completely happy. But as I've told you before, I like challenges and I need new obstacles to overcome or I get bored. I really like how they came out in the end though and even though it might be different from what I normally do I still think I've maintained my style. The copter girl is also one out of only two customs left in my store after the convention if you feel that you fancy her :)

Now this was my biggest achievement! My first original resin toys. The Baby Colossus and Mr. Bun Bun. They are all sold out now, but that is not what I'm talking about. This have been on my agenda for a long time and I finally did it. I have struggled so much with them though and it took me so much longer than I thought it would, this is why the week I would have had spare before ToyCon became the most important and most stressful week of my life. I'm not going to run you through all the problems I ran in to as it would take me forever and this blog entry is already getting way to long. Let's just say that making resin toys isn't as easy as it might seem...

Either way they were a huge success and I want to thank all of you that picked one up! There will definitely be more Bun Bun's and Colossus's in the future. Actually I am already planning the next Bun Bun release.....

Now I also met some awesome people and new friends. I want to thank Andy (TTC), RX7even, Penny (Taylored Curiosities) and Ian (Uncle Absinth) for and absolutely amazing night. You made me feel like I was 20 again and it's been a long long time since I had such a laugh and went to bed drunk as a skunk at 4.00 in the morning. I can't wait to hang out with you guys again next year. What a night! Here's to ToyCon UK 2017 it's going to be a BIG ONE and time just can't go quick enough! The Toy community is really something to be part of. Never in my life have I felt so welcome among strangers! Thank you for having me! <3 <3 <3

Happy Monday!

Good Morning and here's to a new week. Last week was a bit of a stress for me trying to get my shop launch up and going. I am an expert at stressing for no good reason and so I burnt myself out a bit last week. This has resulted in extreme tiredness. I forget about the sleep I actually do need when I am on a creative streak so I am trying to catch up on some now. I'm not doing very well... Last night, or this morning rather I went to bed at 4.00 am. Shivering as my body and brain is just so exhausted. I really don't know why I do this to myself, there's just no helping me.

The shop launch went well anyway. There was a few things that messed up like the shipping prices for example. So I have decided to offer Free World Wide shipping on all items! I hope that the huge shipping prices didn't put people off (which I am sure it did)! But now they're gone anyway so if they did put you off you're welcome back to have another looksie.

"The Passing to Yurei" went within 30 min of the shop launch so I guess someone was sitting there waiting. He will be leaving me today to begin his journey to his new home. I am super excited to have sold my very first custom toy! I've also received a Dunny commission that I will be starting this week.

Now I'm on to the next chapter of Tomodachi Island. I've started sculpting it but won't show you until the ball is rolling what I am working on. Lets just say that I am pretty excited about it and as always I love to discover new grounds.

There will not be another big batch of toys but there will be random additions to the shop as I make them from now on. There will probably be small series from time to time, but not a big batch of 10 like last Friday. It was quite simply to launch my shop, and it was way to stressful for me LOL!

I've got a load of 3" Dunnys coming my way as well. So I am looking forward to getting some Dunny action in the shop in a near future.
