Fokqueenie Solo Show - Wee Toys Gallery
Whaaaat?! What’s this?! Two Blog posts in one day…. Can’t remember the last time that happened. I’m having a computer day today and trying to catch up on the work I’ve done over the past few months. So here goes…… oh and also this show is THIS weekend!
What have we got here then? Well, as you might have noticed I don’t take part in shows very often these days. For many reasons, but mainly because I want to have time to make my own work and that leaves me with no time to do shows. I work with Wee Toys Gallery a lot as I find their shows fun and different. It gives me the opportunity to work on toys like this one from Fokqueenie, which I just love. Her toys are crazy and out there and they help me to think outside of the box. It is a challenge every time, but a challenge that I am up to! I mean look at him! How nuts is this platform? And how ugly and cute at the same time?
I am completely and utterly in love whit this little dude! I added a lot of sculpting this time. The hair and the face are different. However, I wanted to keep his cute underpants! And to add the element of those little hearts to an otherwise serious little demon really helped to bring out the cuteness in him. Almost like a little mockery to a demon that tries to be so scary and serious, but doesn’t quite succeed at that job.
As I wrote earlier, the show is this weekend, starting on the 30th of April through to the 2nd of May, over at Wee Toys Gallery, Bangkok.

The Line-up of artists is crazy and I know this show is going to be something out of this world. So do go and check it out if you can. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
